Responsibilities: Liz Watt undertook the role of Architect for the Juniper, “Soul” residential and mixed use development, Gold Coast. Under the guidance of a Senior Design Architect, Liz led the architectural team from project inception to Schematic Design and submission for Planning Approvals. Her role included stakeholder consultation, brief development, feasibility and yield studies, concept design options (1 tower, 2 tower, 3 tower), schematic design, consultant co-ordination and co-ordination of a Planning Application and marketing documents for “off-the-plan” sales.
Liz was responsible for co-ordinating all design disciplines including building services and engineering, traffic, and urban planning during this phase of the project, before handing it over to the documentation team.
Project description: The project is a development on the Gold Coast, consisting of 3 levels of retail and commercial tenancies, and 77 storeys including 288 luxury apartments. The site was a signature site in the area and required extensive consideration of urban and master planning issues.
