Monash University | Bachelor of Interior Architecture

Subject Code: PPR3102 | Fourth Year, Semester 1-2, 2015

Sessional Tutor: Liz Watt

Subject Co-ordinator: Dion Keech

This unit introduces students to the range of practical, fiscal, operational and legislated requirements for operation as a competent professional practitioner of interior architecture. Site visits relevant to the projects are undertaken.

Students develop the design of a small café fitout in a space on the campus through two tasks:

  • Task 1 | Taking The Brief (week 1-4, 20%)- The task will be to develop a cohesive Return Brief in response to the objectives set out in the project page. The structure of the Return Brief should address all critical areas required to begin planning a project, including the provision of room data sheets.
  • Task 2 | Documentation Pack (week 5-12, 80%) – The task will be to complete a comprehensive documentation package including drawings and schedules.

Task 02 | Documentation Pack
