Responsibilities: Liz was Project Architect for the design of this tower. The project required options investigations to include yield studies and feasibilities, before determining a final configuration and developing the concept. Liz was responsible for co-ordinating the design and documentation with the wider design team to complete the Schematic Design equivalent to a Planning Application standard. At this stage, the client took the project to independently deliver under a local D&C Contract in Taiwan.
Project Description: The project site was centrally located in Taipei, Taiwan, surrounded by streets on 4 sides, and adjacent to a significant parkland. A number of options were considered, but in this heavily built up city, it was important to maintain the “green” characteristics of the area. The resultant scheme included a double tower, with a significant landscaped ground and courtyard area for residents. The final building project included 28 luxury residential apartments over 14 levels, luxury ground level amenities including spa, gym, and external landscaping.
