Responsibilities: Liz Watt’s role as the Design Co-ordinator for Palm Mall Deira, required overseeing an architectural and interior design team between 30 and 50 staff. Her role included communications management between clients and internal and consultant team members in Australia and Dubai, development and implementation of a design management plan and program and complex information management system for an estimated 10-20,000 design documents.
Project description: The project is allocated in Dubai and was the largest retail development in the world at the time of Schematic Design. The project included 5 x high-rise apartment and hotel buildings as well as extensive retail over 3 levels and basement car parking.
