Project description: The existing campus includes buildings from 1970s construction to recent facilities. The site is split into two precincts separated by a car park: the front section includes the commercially operated Hemisphere Hotel and education facilities.

The rear section includes cafeteria, administration, trade workshops, and general classrooms. Access to facilities is disjointed and in varied condition and requires a complete strategy to unify and consolidate the campus.

The final campus vision includes development of a central ‘heart’ or student hub and a focus on the continued enhancement of landscape, courtyards, and transitional spaces through improved physical and visual connections. The Master Plan maintains two precincts and adopts a ‘transformational’ approach that utilises and enhances existing facilities and conditions, rather than re-inventing the campus.
