EARTH studio introduces students to the theme of earth and its relationship to the ground through a study of three tectonics:
- Point, Line + Plane – on the earth
- Mass – below the earth
- Frame + Infill – above the earth.
The final 5-week project takes concepts generated in the first three projects and develops a small pavilion to hold secrets on Herring Island, on the Yarra River in South Yarra.
