Responsibilities: Liz was Architect for the design and documentation of this project.  She worked directly with engineers and a builder to provide input into buildability, construction and costs.  A full set of tender documents was completed by Liz.

Project description: The site was located opposite the beach at Currumbin Rock on the Gold Coast.  On a steeply sloping site with a laneway along one side, the property was the amalgamation of two lots of land.

The client required a home for their 3 young boys, which could adapt over 15-20 years as the family grew. The final design included car parking and storage at ground level, with living, kitchen, formal lounge and deck overlooking the beach. Bedrooms were situated on the top level with a long wing to the rear including pool room, study and secondary living areas for the children to grow into.
