Responsibilities: Liz was a key member of the Quality Assurance Committee to undertake design and implementation of the following systems:
- Quality Assurance
- Occupational Health And Safety
- Environmental Management System
As part of the Quality Assurance System and requirements for ISO9001 audits, this project was created. Liz’s role was to manage the project and oversee resources to deliver it.
Project description: The project required review of the existing system, tools and templates used for management of projects and designs.
Liz undertook a series of consultations with senior staff to develop a clearly agreed methodology based on the Institute of Architects (AIA) currently accepted methodology.
Form here a consolidated list of over 100 “Project Management” tools, templates and proformas was created, along with a program of delivery and workflow for monitoring and amending. Liz then worked with a team to prioritise and develop these templates, obtain internal approval and develop and deliver each of these documents. Alongside development of this system, Liz developed a format of the company intranet, including a section dedicated to the Project Management tools. She worked closely with staff from graduates to Senior Project Architects and Directors to obtain feedback for constantly improve the system.
